The biggest fear for a person with diabetes is losing a limb. At Kanungo Institute of Diabetes Specialities (K.I.D.S), our main goal is the prevention of a foot problem and its recurrence and reduces limb loss in patients with diabetes..
The Department is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of dedicated medical professionals who can provide the most advanced treatment and specialized care for foot complications. Our patients have access to an array of services, which include complete evaluations by an endocrinologist, orthopedist, podiatrist, plastic or vascular surgeons, and pedorthists. We also offer participation in clinical trials, diagnostic testing, pain management, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and skeletal radiology.

The Foot Care Department provides interdisciplinary care for lower extremity disease in patients with diabetes. We provide evaluation and treatment of all podiatric conditions including:
